Paul-Henri, the founder of the estate, is difficult, very stubborn and has his own obsessions. He started out as a wine merchant in Burgundy in the business of selling grapes, which was not rewarding for him. He then threw himself into the study and training of completely organic winemaking. In 2008, he decided to settle in the Beaujolais region of Chena, where he became a kind of outlier in a region plagued by a culture of chemistry and productivism. His audacity, commitment and charm, his 'joie de vivre' (joie de vivre), led to his younger brother Charles joining in 2012, followed by his youngest brother and sister, creating the Henri and Charles Tiradon brothers' estate. Starting with 3 ha of vines, they now have 12 ha of vines and own the AOCs of Chenat, Moulin Navan and Sibre. They are biodynamic and cultivate with horses. Older brother Paul-Henri is a hunter and younger brother Charles is an expert mushroom picker. The cellar is stocked with home-made hams and pâtés, and this is a family estate that truly embraces living with nature.
