【内容量 Net】750ml 【産地 vineyard】フランス France／ルーション Roussillon 【品種 variety】シラー主体 Mainly Syrah 【タイプ type】赤・ミディアムボディ Red, Medium body Alc. 13.5% 1992年植樹のシラー主体。黒色泥灰土壌。東南東向きの畑。収量13hl/ha。20Kg小かごで手摘収穫、SO2無添加。除梗なしのグラップアン ティエールでマセラシオン。228lのバリックで10ヶ月熟成。 深い色合い、力強く凝縮感があり香りも完熟したベリーの香りを強く感じます。タンニンも非常に力強いながらもバランスがよく長期熟成に耐えるしっかりボディー。 区画の境目に白いちじくと黒いちじくの木が植わっている為、FIGUIERES（いちじくの木）と名付けた。 Mainly Syrah, planted in 1992. Black marl soil. The vineyard faces east-southeast. Hand harvested in small 20 kg baskets, no SO2 added. The wine was aged in 228l barriques for 10 months. The wine is deep in color, intense and concentrated, with a strong nose of ripe berries. The tannins are very powerful, yet well-balanced, and the wine has a firm body that will stand up to long aging. We named it FIGUIERES (fig tree) because there are white and black fig trees planted at the border of the plot. \\about Vigneron　生産者について// ドメーヌ・デ・バルメットはフランス南西部の都市ペルピニャンに程近いCases-de-Pène村の4haの畑から2003年にスタートしたドメーヌ(現在は8haまで拡大)。当主リュシアン・サラニは、豪快で愉快で心優しい田舎のおじさんと言った面持ち。かつてはブルゴーニュのクロード・マレシャル等で働いていた経歴を持ち、 ビオロジック農法で丁寧なワイン作りを行う情熱家。このおじさんが?と思わせるような優しい味わいで、 すっと喉に流れていくような綺麗なワインを造りだす。南のワインを思わす強さはなく、極まれに出会う南のソワフワイン! ブルゴーニュでブドウ栽培に携わった影響でリュシアンは熱心なモノセパージュ(単一品種) 支持者。「複数の異なるブドウをアサンブラージュしてテロワールの個性を表現することは非常に難しいこと だ(コープランタシオンを除く)が、ビオロジック農法で育てられたブドウでならば唯一その表現を可能にし てくれる」という考えがあり、アサンブラージュのワイン作りにも挑んでいる。また、畑においてもカーヴにお いても化学的な物は一切使用していない。(全てのワインにおいて人工酵母や酵素、酸化防止剤などは一 切添加していない) Domaine des Balmettes started in 2003 with 4 hectares of vineyards in the village of Case-de-Pène, near the city of Perpignan in southwestern France (the estate has now expanded to 8 hectares). The head of the family, Lucien Sarani, is a dynamic, funny, and kind-hearted country man. He used to work for Claude Maréchal in Burgundy, and is a passionate winemaker who carefully produces wine using biologic farming methods. The wine is not strong like a southern wine, but a rare southern soif wine! Influenced by his involvement in viticulture in Burgundy, Lucien is an avid monocrop advocate. He believes that "it is very difficult to express the personality of a terroir by assembling several different grapes (except in a corpérantation), but only a biologically grown grape can do it", so he tries to make wines with assambrage. No chemicals are used in the vineyard or in the caves. (No artificial yeasts, enzymes, or antioxidants are added to any of their wines.)
