Dry farming. Bush vines. Hand-harvested, selected, whole cluster pressed, spontaneous fermentation and malolactic fermentation in 500 liter old oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered. アフリカンブラザーズとテスタロンガのコラボワイン。ラベルはゆづき（インポーターさんの娘さん）の小3年の時の読書感想画を採用。モモちゃんという少女が初めて傘を買ってもらい、少し緊張した表情でさしているシュールな作品。クレイグがこの少女の小さなポケットに着眼し、ワン・ポケット（一か所）のピノタージュから造られていることとアフリカンブラザーズのためだけにという意味合いも込めて名付けられました。 A collaboration wine between African Brothers and Testaronga. The label is based on Yuzuki's (the importer's daughter) third grade book report. It is a surrealistic drawing of a little girl named Momo-chan holding an umbrella with a slightly nervous expression on her face when she is bought one for the first time. Craig's eye was drawn to the little girl's small pocket, and the umbrella is named after her, with the implication that it is made from a single pocket pinotage, and that it is made exclusively for African Brothers. \\About Vigneron 生産者について// テスタロンガ Testalonga - クレイグ・ホーキンス Craig Hawkins 南アフリカにおいてナチュラルなワイン造りのパイオニアとして一躍したワイナリーで醸造責任者として働いていたクレイグ・ホーキンスが2008年、満を持して独立。西ケープ州に点在する放置された高樹齢の畑を借り、自身で耕作し復活をさせるなどして、有機栽培のブドウを採用しています。ブドウがワインになってゆくプロセスを最小限の干渉で見守り、その年の出来を最大限に生かすワインを造り出します。全ての工程において添加するものは何も無く、条件の良いヴィンテージでは、瓶詰め時のSO2も添加しません。毎年ブドウやワインの出来のイメージによってエチケットや名前を変えるなどしており、自身の持つインスピレーションに忠実にワイン造りをする天才肌で、ヨーロッパやイギリス等、各国のナチュラルなワインのマーケットで注目を集めている生産者です。 Craig Hawkins, who worked as head winemaker at a winery that pioneered the production of natural wines in South Africa, went out on his own in 2008. He rents abandoned, old vineyards scattered across the Western Cape, cultivates and restores them himself, and uses organically grown grapes. The process of turning grapes into wine is monitored with minimal intervention to produce wines that make the most of the year's crop. Nothing is added during the entire process, not even SO2 at bottling in good vintages. He is a genius who makes wines true to his own inspiration, and is attracting attention in the natural wine market in Europe, England, and other countries.
