It is fresh and creamy, with a taste reminiscent of white beer (Weissbier). The taste is so creamy and gentle that we named it after Smetana, the Slovak word for crème, and Smetana, the most important composer in Slovakia. \\from Importer インポーター資料より// スロヴァキアワインといっても、殆どの方は？？？に違いあるまい。 事実、私たちはスロヴァキアに関する知識は殆ど持ち合わせていない。しかし、出会っ てしまったのだ！何というピュアな透明感ある味わいか。 オレンジワインは、更に奥深さが加わり、稀有な味わいに本当に驚いてしまった！ フランスとスペ イン以外のワインを輸入するなど全く考えていなかったにも拘らず、試飲しながらオーナーの娘カタリナの話を伺っているうちに、これは何としても日本の皆 様にお伝えしなければならないという使命感が沸々と込み上げてきたのだった。 スロヴァキアに於けるワイン造りの歴史は、2000年前にも遡るという。このワイナリー”スロボドネ”は、先祖が1912年にゼミアンスケ・サディの土地を買い、 農場を始めたのが初まり。ぶどうの他にも森林もあり、小麦や大麦、タバコなどを300haの土地で栽培していた。当時は、ヨーロッパで最大のタバコ乾燥場 を持つほどだった。 1920-30年代にはワインもかなり生産し、現在のチェコ共和国の首都プラハでかなり飲まれており、”3人のボクサーへ”Vers les Trois Boxeursというブランドはかなり有名だった。第2次世界大戦時、共産主義者によりこの農園は接収されてしまい、以降廃れてしまった。祖母が古い醸造所 で昔書かれた農場の資料を発見したのを機に、1992年両親は廃墟のように廃れたこの農場を復元することを決意した。 1995年、ようやく荒廃したぶどう畑 の再興に着手し、2010年には初めて自分たちのワインを市場にリリースするに至った。彼らの目的は、スロボドネを昔のように再興し、ゼミアンスケ・サディ の土地の特徴を表現する高品質なワインを造ることだ。 土地の特徴を表現する手法として、自然と白ぶどうを醸すオレンジワインやぶどうの植わる土から 造ったアンフォラを用いた醸造が生まれた。 オレンジワインと赤ワインの醸造には亜硫酸も一切使用せず、瓶詰め時僅かに添加するのみ。 彼らの昔の栄 光を取り戻すワイン造りはまだ始まったばかりに過ぎず、今後更に素晴らしいワインを生み出してくれるに違いない！ Slovak wine is a wine that most people would not understand. We have little knowledge of Slovakia, in fact, we have no knowledge of Slovakia at all. In fact, we have little knowledge about Slovakia. But then we came across it! What a pure and clear taste! The orange wine added depth and a rare taste that really surprised us! I had never thought of importing wines from outside of France and Spain, but as I listened to the owner's daughter Katarina's story while tasting the wines, I felt a strong sense of duty to share these wines with the Japanese public. The history of winemaking in Slovakia dates back 2000 years. The winery "Slobodne" was founded in 1912, when the ancestors bought a plot of land in Zemianske Sady and started a farm. In addition to grapes, there were forests, and wheat, barley, and tobacco were grown on 300 hectares of land. At the time, the farm had the largest tobacco drying area in Europe. In the 1920s and 1930s, it also produced a considerable amount of wine, which was drunk in Prague, the current capital of the Czech Republic, and the brand "Vers les Trois Boxeurs" (to the three boxers) was quite famous. During World War II, the communists confiscated the plantation, and it has since fallen into disuse. In 1992, my parents decided to restore the farm to its former state of disrepair after my grandmother discovered some old farm documents in the old brewery. In 1995, they finally began to rebuild the devastated vineyards, and in 2010 they released their first wine to the market. Their goal is to revive Slobodnay as it was in the past and to produce high quality wines that express the character of the Zemianske Sadie site. The method of expression of local characteristics naturally led to the development of orange wines made from white grapes and amphoras made from the soil in which the grapes were planted. No sulfites are used in the vinification of the orange and red wines, and only a small amount is added at bottling. Their return to their former glory is just the beginning, and they are sure to produce even better wines in the future!
