He is a wonderful producer who makes wines with charm and finesse that are unimaginable from the outside. He received his degree in oenology and viticulture from Elsenberg College. He then studied the fundamentals of winemaking, especially Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, in California's Napa Valley, Central Coast, and New Zealand. In 2008, he returned to South Africa to take on the role of head winemaker and viticulturist at a small winery in Tarbach, where he won numerous awards.
