The second half of the juice is slowly direct pressed over a period of about 10 days, with new grapes gradually added, from Chardonnay to Viognier. (approx. 20% Chardonnay, 80% Viognier). The wine is then fermented and matured in old barrels used for red wine. \\from Importer インポーターコメント// オレンジがかった黄金色。金柑やアプリコットのコンフィチュール、黄桃、オレンジ系の柑橘などの果実香、金木犀や沈丁花、ジャスミンなどのかぐわしい花々、紅茶などの香りが感じられ、加えてアロマティックな様子に仄かにミルクティーやバニラを想わせるまろやかな香りが伺えます。 アルコール表記は13.5%と高めですが、のびやかな酸や塩味が感じられることでメリハリがあり、ボディの厚みを和らげ冷涼感のある飲み心地で、華やぎのある果実の風味が口中を覆うように広がります。 やや充実感のある芳醇な果実味を主体として、フローラル系の風味やバニラなど様々な要素が溶け込み、複雑性に富んだ旨味を伴う味わいで余韻は長く、微細なタンニンがや塩味が僅かに残り引き締まった印象を受けます。 アロマ豊かでほどよいリッチ感が感じられる仕上がりです。 Golden colour with orange hues. The wine has a fruity aroma of kumquat and apricot confiture, yellow peach and orange citrus, fragrant flowers such as kumquat osmanthus, agave, jasmine and black tea, and a mild aroma reminiscent of milk tea and vanilla in its aromatic appearance. The alcohol is high at 13.5%, but the wine is well balanced with a refreshing acidity and salinity, which softens the thickness of the body and gives it a cool, refreshing feel, while the flamboyant fruit flavours cover the palate. The palate has a long, complex and delicious finish, with fine tannins and a hint of saltiness, giving the impression of a tight wine. The finish is aromatic and moderately rich. \\About Vigneron 生産者について// これまで、Foxy Foxy Nature Wild Lifeのドメーヌ名としてご案内しておりましたが、2016年ヴィンテージよりアンダース・フレデリック・スティーン個人の名前でリリースすることになりました。 Foxy Foxy Nature Wild Lifeを立ち上げたジャンマルク・ブリニョとアンダース・フレデリック・スティーンは、2015年の醸造を最期にそれぞれが違う道を歩むことになりました。目指すワインのスタイルや価格帯などが微妙に異なり、考えの差を埋めることが難しいとお互いが判断したためです。ジャンマルクは安い価格帯で多くの方々にとって親しみ易いものから、コアなファンが求める個性的なハイエンドモデルまでをいくつか造ることを提案していたのに対して、アンダースの考えは中間の価格帯で多くの人から受け入れられる、使い易いスタイルのワインを主体とすることでした。アンダースは、「ジャンマルクは良い友人であり、ワイン造りについて沢山のことを教えてくれた恩人でもある。彼に対しては感謝の念に堪えない。」と述べています。 We have been announcing his wine under the Foxy Foxy Nature Wild Life as domaine name, but starting with the 2016 vintage, we will be releasing it under Anders Frederik Steen's personal name. Jean-Marc Brignot and Anders Frederik Steen, the founders of Foxy Foxy Nature Wild Life, have gone their separate ways since the end of the 2015 vintage, as they both found it difficult to bridge the gap between their slightly different wine styles and price points. While Jean-Marc proposed to make several wines ranging from inexpensive and accessible to many people to the unique high-end models demanded by the core fans, Anders' idea was to focus on wines in the middle price range with an easy-to-use style that would be accepted by many people. Anders said, "Jean-Marc is a good friend and has taught me a lot about winemaking. I can't thank him enough."
