His wines, which are popular in Japan as "wacky wines", are produced in the Riverland region of South Australia, which is recognized as a table wine producing region in Australia. He has successfully transformed the value of his wines by producing high quality natural wines that can be enjoyed by all, from alternative southern Italian varieties that are suited to the climate of the region. Although production was lower than normal in 2022 due to hail damage in late spring, it was a cooler year overall and the grapes were harvested after a slow growing period. The quality of the wines was particularly good, with high natural acidity balanced by concentrated fruit.
