Leo, still in his 20s, is gradually taking over the vineyards that have been passed down through four generations. The vineyard his grandfather and father first handed down to him is mostly Sylvaner, and his ingenuity in mixing varieties and macerating by hand is paying off. This is the third vintage since he started making his own wines, but he is already releasing wines of a high degree of perfection. He made his debut widely at Annonim in February 2020, where he quickly attracted a lot of attention. It is 10km south of the Riech family via the wine road, but the soils are of a completely different granitic nature. The fruitiness of the fruit emerges. The vineyards continue to be organically farmed, and even in the cellar, they try to make the most of the potential of the vineyard and grapes without unnecessary intervention.
