The healthy grapes, harvested in the spring on a cool climate with hail damage, were pressed and macerated for only 6 hours, then fermented naturally in stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled with a small amount of antioxidants. The color is slightly paler than in previous years, but the flavors seem to be conversely enhanced, with a lovely strawberry-candy, mouth-soaking, creamy texture. \\about Winery ワイナリーについて// Delinquente Wine Co. デリンクエンテ / Con-Greg Grigoriou グレッグ・グリゴリオ 自ら”Delinquente = はみ出し者 / ならず者”を名乗るオーナーワインメーカー、Con-Greg Grigoriou / グレッグ・グリゴリオによって 2013 年設立されたデリンクエンテ。 「変顔ワイン」として日本でも高い人気を誇る彼のワインが生まれるのはオーストラリアでもテーブルワインの産地として認知されている南オ ーストラリア州リヴァーランド。その地の気候に合致した南イタリア系オルタナティブ品種から誰もが楽しめる高品質なナチュラルワインを造り出すことで見事に価値転換を果たし、今やオーストラリアで彼のワインは確固たる評価を得るに至っています。 2022 年は遅春に雹害があったために生産量こそ平年よりも少なくなってしまいましたが、全体的に冷涼でじっくり生育期間を経てから収穫できた年。自然な酸を高く保ちながら凝縮感あるフ ルーツとのバランスがしっかり取れており、クオリティ面では 特に素晴らしい出来になりました。 Delinquente was founded in 2013 by owner-winemaker Con-Greg Grigoriou, who calls himself "Delinquente". His wines, which are popular in Japan as "wacky wines", are produced in the Riverland region of South Australia, which is recognized as a table wine producing region in Australia. He has successfully transformed the value of his wines by producing high quality natural wines that can be enjoyed by all, from alternative southern Italian varieties that are suited to the climate of the region. Although production was lower than normal in 2022 due to hail damage in late spring, it was a cooler year overall and the grapes were harvested after a slow growing period. The quality of the wines was particularly good, with high natural acidity balanced by concentrated fruit.
