After training in France and California, Tremaine worked as the head winemaker at Mullineux, one of the three Swartland wineries, while also producing his own brand, "The Black Smith," which he began selling worldwide, albeit in very small quantities. Later, he was brought in by a major company, Fable Mountain, and took on the role of head brewer. Although his main focus is still brewing for Fable Mountain, he is aiming to become independent in the near future. Recently, he has formed a partnership with Yak regarding grape cultivation and is working hard to acquire various organic grapes.
