They are third-generation winemakers and are passionate about making wine rooted in local traditions. The vineyards cover 10 hectares, with the remaining 4 hectares devoted to woodland and olive groves. They use a special type of vine tailoring called Veronese Double Arch and grow varieties such as Corvina, Rossanella, Rondinella and Molinara for red wines and Fernanda, Moscato, Trebbianello, Trebbiano, Garganega and Tokay for white wines. They are also involved in the production of a number of other varieties of wine. They have been inspired by Danilo Marcucci to convert to biodynamic farming and seek natural expression in their winemaking. The soils contain complex sediments from ancient marine influences and glacial activity, and the vines are 60-70 years old and robust. Their wines have a duality: an international style that combines traditional extracts with a contemporary approach, and wines that reflect the local history and soils. The result is bright, juicy, mineral-rich wines that symbolise Bardolino's past and future.
