【内容量 Net】750ml 【産地 region】イタリア ヴェネト Veneto, Italy 【品種 variety】メルロー Merlot、タイロッソ Tai Rosso 【タイプ type】赤 Red 【醸造 vinification】 ファーストヴィンテージとなる2011年当時にサウロの生家の北にある小さな集落ヴァル リオナで借りていたブドウ畑があった土地の名前から名付けられた。現在はコッリ ベーリチで栽培されているメルローとタイ ロッソを使用。 収穫されたブドウは除梗され、ステンレスタンクで長くても5日間のマセレーションとアルコール醗酵を行い、圧搾後ステンレスタンクに戻され約8か月間ほど醗酵の続きと熟成を行う。 Named after the land on which the vineyard was rented in Varliona, a small hamlet north of Saulo's birthplace at the time of the first vintage in 2011. It is now made from Merlot and Tai Rosso grown in Colli Bellici. The harvested grapes are destemmed, macerated and alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for a maximum of five days, and after pressing the grapes are returned to stainless steel tanks for further fermentation and maturation for approximately eight months. \\about Vigna 生産者について// ヴェネト州ガンベッラーラから南に約20kmにあるコッリ ベーリチで、1985年に生まれたサウロ マウレ。実家から10kmほどの距離にあるトレンティン研究所で5年間学び、その後父リーノが持つパヴィア郊外の農場で畜産や農業の仕事を手伝っていました。 2008年、サウロが23歳のときに実家へ戻り、今後の人生をどのように生きていくべきか考えたときに頭に浮かんだのはワインであり、ブドウを育む土壌や自然環境に敬意を払うことにも情熱を傾けながら自身のワインを造ってみたいとワイナリー設立の道へと進んでいきます。 ガンベッラーラの隣村モンテベッロ ヴィチェンティーノにあった父が管理していた土地に植えられていたブドウを植え替えることからワイナリーの準備は始まり、2010年にリーノのジャズバンド仲間であったアンジョリーノ マウレと出会い、彼のセラーで醸造を行うことになりました。 2011年に初めてのワインとなるグランセルヴァとカ ロンバルダをリリース。2014年から行っていたサン ジェルマーノの生家にあった馬小屋の改装と醸造可能な施設に必要な登録が完了したため、2017年から新しいセラーでの醸造が始まりました。 現在では、モンテベッロ ヴィチェンティーノの畑で、ガルガーネガ、ドゥレッラ、シャルドネ、ピノグリージョといった白ブドウを、コッリ ベーリチの畑でメルロー、タイ ロッソといった黒ブドウを栽培し、自然環境に配慮しボルドー液以外の薬剤は使用せず有機農法を実践しています。ブドウ畑の広さは約5ヘクタールで、年間12000本ほどを生産、ワイナリー名の「カヴァッリーノ 仔馬」は、父が馬や牛を中心とした畜産の会社を経営していたことに由来しています。 Saulo Maule was born in 1985 in Colli Bellici, about 20 km south of Gamberrara in the Veneto. He studied for five years at the Trentin Institute, 10 km from his parents' home, and then helped his father Rino with livestock and agricultural work on their farm outside Pavia. In 2008, at the age of 23, Sauro returned to his parents' home and when he thought about how he should live his life, wine came to mind and he decided to set up his own winery, with a passion for making his own wine while also respecting the soil and natural environment where the grapes are grown. Preparations for the winery began with the replanting of vines on land his father had managed in Montebello Vicentino, a neighbouring village to Gamberrara, and in 2010 he met Rino's jazz bandmate Angiolino Maule, who would vinify the wine in his cellar. The first wines, Gran Serva and Ca' Lombarda, were released in 2011; vinification in the new cellar began in 2017, following the completion of the necessary registrations for the renovation and vinification of the stable at his birthplace in San Germano, which had been underway since 2014, to make it a viable facility. Today, white grapes such as Garganega, Durella, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio are grown in the Montebello Vicentino vineyard, and black grapes such as Merlot and Tai Rosso in the Colli Bellici vineyard, where organic farming is practised, using no chemicals except Bordeaux solution in respect of the natural environment. The vineyard covers an area of approximately 5 hectares and produces around 12 000 bottles per year.
