Eric helped his father with his work as a beekeeper. When his grandfather retired in 1988, he took over the viticulture and sold wine to agricultural cooperatives until 2000. At the same time he was researching soils, 'Growing wine on land that is too thin should produce red wines that are full-flavoured and delicate.' In 2001, his own wine was born. He wants to work as reliably as he can, and in order to preserve the freshness of the fruit, he keeps his vinification facilities clean, and during fermentation, he keeps a large refrigerated truck parked outside his front door for a month.
