The grapes were harvested in two batches. The first harvest was made in two batches: the grapes were picked close to the forest to preserve acidity, and those that were overripe and in danger of bursting before ripening were pressed directly in a vertical press and gravity-fed into barrels. A second harvest is made one week later, when the remaining grapes are ripe and golden brown. Fermentation and aging in barrels with direct pressing. After two years of fermentation, the wine is assembled and fermented and aged in fiberglass tanks for one year. Bottled in September 2021. \\about Vigneron 生産者について// 2018年、日仏商事がフランス・ロワールに所有するVignoble Haute Couture (ヴィニョーブル・オート・クチュール)が取得したワイナリー。 ワイナリー責任者は弊社の筒井草(かや)、栽培責任者はLudovic JOLY (リュドヴィック・ジョリー)。醸造コンサルタントに大岡弘武氏を迎え、取得した2018 年よりワイン造りを開始。 2023年3月、初ヴィンテージをリリース。ワイナリーはロワール川の左岸、メーヌ＝エ＝ロワール県アンジェから南東に約20km、ソミュールから北西に25kmのクチュール村にある。敷地総面積は森や建物も含め11.53ha。「ラ マルティニエール」という場所は、17世紀から文献に登場しており、18世紀よりワイン造りをスタートしていた。直近の持ち主としては、2014年から2017年までグザヴィエ・カイヤール氏(Xavier CAILLARD)が管理をし、有機栽培を行っていた。 醸造所は地下洞窟にあり、すべての畑の中心に位置する。畑から醸造所までの距離というのは、亜硫酸を使用しない自然派ワイン造りにおいては欠かせないポイントである。また年間を通して温度が比較的安定しており、たとえ猛暑の夏でも醸造所内は16°C程までしか上がらない為、温度調整をしなくとも、ゆっくりとした低温発酵が可能である。 畑の最大の特徴は、全ての畑が同じ敷地内に存在しており、隣の畑の影響をうけずにマルティニエール独自のテロワールができていることである。また西側から東側へ風が抜け、湿気が溜まりにくい地形が生むマイクロクライメイト(局所気候)のおかげで霜被害に遭いにくい。全体の畑の総面積は6ha。標高は一番高いところで70mほど。すこし小高い丘になっている。密植度は4500本/ha。樹間が1mで畝間が2mとなっている。 The winery was acquired in 2018 by Vignoble Haute Couture (Vignoble Haute Couture), which is owned by Nichifutsu Shoji in Loire, France. The winery is headed by Kaya Tsutsui, our winery manager, and Ludovic JOLY is the viticultural manager. The winery started making wine in 2018, the year it was acquired, with Hirotake OHOKA as winemaking consultant. The first vintage was released in March 2023. The winery is located on the left bank of the Loire River, in the village of Couture, about 20 km southeast of Angers in the Maine-et-Loire department and 25 km northwest of Saumur. The total area of the property is 11.53 ha, including forests and buildings.The place "La Martiniere" has been mentioned in documents since the 17th century, and wine making started in the 18th century. The most recent owner was Xavier CAILLARD (Xavier CAILLARD), who managed the property from 2014 to 2017, and cultivated it organically. The winery is located in an underground cave, in the center of all the vineyards. The distance from the vineyards to the winery is an essential factor in the production of natural wines without sulfites. Temperatures are relatively stable throughout the year, and even during the hottest summer months, the temperature in the winery only rises to about 16°C. This allows for slow, low-temperature fermentation without the need for temperature control. The most important feature of the vineyard is that all the vineyards are located on the same site, creating a terroir that is unique to Martiniere without the influence of neighboring vineyards. The winds blow from the west to the east, and the topography prevents the accumulation of moisture, creating a microclimate (local climate) that makes the vineyard less susceptible to frost damage. The total vineyard area is 6 hectares, with the highest point at 70 meters above sea level. The highest point is 70 meters above sea level, and the vineyard is situated on a slightly elevated hill.
