After internships at Zieleisen in Baden and Planzeck in Zuttirol, he took charge of the family winemaking business in 2016. Growing Riesling, Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau and Burgunder Repsorten on the volcanic rocks of north-western Rheinhessen, he gradually developed his personal style, which now has its first limelight as his name and label. With minimal impact, both in the vineyard and in the cellar, he has made wines that surprise us all.
